Alexei Glibichuk


Born on October 28th 1982. From 1990 to 1993 I studied at High School № 63 of Bishkek, from 1993 to 1995 — at High School № 1 of Lyubinsky (Omsk district), from 1995 to 1997 — at High School № 3 of Bishkek; in 1997 I entered the Authors’ Physics and Mathematics School-Lycée № 61 named after Yakir, graduating with a gold medal in 2000.

In 2001 I began my studies at the MSU Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty, and graduated with honors in 2006. During my university studies I submitted four scientific papers to several Russian and foreign journals.

Immediately after graduating from MSU I entered the post-graduate school of the MSU Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty, graduating ahead of schedule in 2009 and defending my Ph. D. thesis on April 17th of 2009. During my postgraduate studies I submitted five scientific papers to several Russian and foreign journals, also participating in scientific conferences in Toronto and Montreal. From September to December of 2007 I worked at the Princeton University. Currently I am teaching probability theory and combinatorics at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, as well as the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. My research is devoted to studying various problems in combinatorics and number theory, as well as estimation of trigonometric sums.
